Our Story

About Jesse:

Jesse is a fun, outgoing 22 year old. She was born in Nebraska on January 31st, to the parents of Jason Warta & Teresa Yates, and has one older sister, Carrie, who is 24. Her grandfather, Ronald Campbell, lives in  Elm Creek, Ne. Her grandmother, Lorraine Warta-Campbell, recently passed away.  She graduated from Ogallala High School in 2008 and continued her education by graduating from Josephs College of Beauty in 2010. She is currently putting her education to good use in Cheyenne, Wy practicing cosmetology, and still continues to have a Nebraska license.

About Kevin:   

Kevin is a fun, devoted 27 year old. He was born in Colorado on March 14th, to parents Stan and Judy Schnug, and has a younger brother, Kyle, who is 24. His grandparents, Roy and Shirley Schnug also live in Wyoming. Kevin started driving a semi when he was 20 years old and bought his first truck, a 2005 Kenworth, at the young age of 24. Now he owns a 2006 Peterbuilt that has quickly become his baby. Although he drives for a living, it is also his hobby.

How We Met:

Kevin and Jesse met when she still lived in Odessa, NE. She worked at a Sapp Bros. and was a server. They had met once before he asked her out. Or rather his friend asked her out for him. Kevin is a quiet person. He told Jesse later he wasn't going to ask her because he wasnt looking for a girlfriend and he didn't see how it would work with them living in different states. It was his partner, Derrik, who asked her to go out with Kevin. They invited her to the 2010 Bandimere Truck Show in Denver, CO. They met August 2nd and he came back to Odessa to pick her up on August 5th which they consider the day their lives together really started. They talked all week and by the time he came to pick her up, Jesse ended up getting the flu and was sick all weekend. But Kevin stayed with her and got her better. They have been together ever since.  A quote from Jesse says,  "I can say its the best decision I have made."
